The City of Mitchell is aware of the limited space for snow removal. With the forecast for snow for this weekend and early next week please refrain from placing additional snow in the street areas after the plows have cleared the streets. Cul De Sac areas will have the snow placed in a pile in the center of these locations. As time allows the City of Mitchell will come and remove the piles.
Please be patient as the snow removal operations are taking a little longer and the winds will create heavy drifting in some already drifted locations. We will be working hard to keep the roads open.
