Iowa farmer will join NCGA leadership ranks

Iowa farmer Kevin Ross will become first vice president of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) this fall.

The vote by NCGA’s Corn Board puts Ross in line to become the organization’s president in October of 2019. Current first vice president Lynn Chrisp of Nebraska will become president this October, succeeding current president Kevin Skunes of North Dakota.

Ross, who farms near Minden in southwest Iowa, is a former president of the Iowa Corn Growers Association.
