Agriculture Education touted as a broad degree

A high school agriculture instructor in southeast Minnesota says a degree in ag education can lead to many successful career paths.

 

Paul Aarsvold teaches at Plainview-Elgin-Millville.

He says there is a huge shortage of ag educators, but sees enthusiasm for the profession increasing because of the value of the degree.

“You can go into so many different things.  You have people skills training because of the teaching background.
